It can be a little overwhelming when you first start planning your wedding. Where do you start? What’s most important? This is why we created the Bridal Essentials Package and that’s no doubt why you’re here.
Follow this guide to get started:
STEP 1: Connect with us on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
STEP 2: Request your invite to the Private OTBS Group. Be an active member and help answer other bride’s questions.
STEP 3: Watch the video series: The 7 Mistakes DIY Brides Make & How to Avoid Them (videos 1-3).
STEP 4: Download the Bridal Tool Box.
STEP 5: Watch all the training videos on how to use each unique area of the Bridal Tool Box (“BTB”).
STEP 5a: Get an idea of how many guests you’ll be inviting. Start adding them into the Guest List Tracker.
STEP 5b: Enter your total budget into the Budget Calculator. This will give you a rough idea of how much you have to spend on each type of vendor.
STEP 5c: Start filling in the Budget Spreadsheet and Planning Checklist so you know how much you have to spend and what to do when.
STEP 5d: Use the Venue Selector to help decide which venue is best for your budget.
STEP 6: Take a look at the Download Section to see which you need. Read these prior to contacting vendors and bring checklists to your vendor meetings.
STEP 7: Use the BTB Vendor Contact Book and Call Logs to keep track of all your vendors. Can’t figure out which venue to choose? Check out the Venue Selector tool!
STEP 9: Use the BTB Invite Master as you start doing your Save the Dates and Invitations. Remember, you can keep track of gifts here too.
STEP 10: Getting rentals? Use the BTB Rental Estimator to being figuring out what you’ll need and roughly how much it will all cost.
STEP 11: If you are providing your own liquor for the bar, use the BTB Bar Calculator to find out how much you need of each type of alcohol.
STEP 12: As guests start to RSVP, add their responses to the Guest List Tracker. You can track responses for your Rehearsal Dinner/Welcome Party too!
STEP 13: Start figuring out your seating arrangements by using the BTB Seating Chart Guru (note that the Guest List Tracker must be filled out before the Seating Chart Guru can be fully utilized).
STEP 14: When you are 2-3 months from your wedding, sign up for our Wedding Day Timeline Call.
STEP 15: Finalize your guest list with the BTB Guest List Tracker and complete the Seating Chart Guru. Send these two documents to your Day of Coordinator.
STEP 16: Download the Vendor Tipping Guide.
STEP 17: Send your finalized Wedding Day Timeline to your Day of Coordinator.
